RGC 749
Technical Data Sheet 449 (previously TDS 312) Edition: 08/2015, supersedes all prior editions.
Please see the
latest issue at www.reinz-industrial.com
RGC 749 consists of a foamed mixture of chloroprene rubber and cork.
Properties
Due to its structure, this material – which is resistant to oils and
fatigue – features high compressibility combined with dimensional
stability and extremely high recovery.
Application
For gaskets and pads with very low sealing pressure, e.g. to seal
switchgear and air conditioning units.
for sealing against spray water
excellent
resistance to ozone and humidity

The data quoted above are valid for the material "as delivered" without
any additional treatment. In view of the countless possible
installation and operating conditions, definitive conclusions cannot be
drawn for all applications regarding the behaviour in a sealed joint.
Therefore, we do not give any warranty for technical data, as they do
not represent assured characteristics. If you have any doubt, please
